Rama made an offering to the King of Ocean so that he can cross to Lanka.
Rama Attacks, Sister Nivedita
Rama and the monkeys attack Lanka and Ravana's plan was to use his illusions to make Sita fall into despair. He told her that Rama has been slained and uses his illusions to create Rama's head and a bow. Sita wanted Ravana to kill her too but then he was called to battle and the illusions disappeared so Sita knew Ravana was lying.
Indrajit, Sister Nivedita
Rama and the monkeys fight the rakshasas but they get gravely injured by Ravana's son Indrajit. Ravana shows Sita the carnage and she was convinced they were dead. Then this random bird called Garuda comes and heals Rama and the monkeys.
Kumbhakarna, Donald A. Mackenzie
Kumbhakarna is Ravana's brother and one of the strongest rakshasas. He gets awaken to fight Rama but Rama kills him with some arrows.

Indrajit uses a Brahma weapon to defeat Rama's army and he was very upset but then Hanuman pursues Indrajit to Lanka.
Lakshmana and Indrajit, Romesh Dutt
Indrajit uses illusions to make Rama think that Sita is dead but Vibhishana tells Rama that it's an illusion and that he can ambush Indrajit at Nikumbhila in Lanka. So Lakshmana goes and kills Indrajit

Sita decided to ask the fire-god Agni to test her. They created a funeral pyre and Sita walked in, screaming the entire time. Then the gods came down and was like Rama why are you doing this? Rama then kinda regrets what he did and said he'll take Sita back.

Rama returns back to Ayodhya after his exile is over and his brother Bharata gives him the throne back.

Rama has Sita come back and prove herself again that she is pure. Sita was like while I was in captive all I did was pray for your safety so the gods can take me away now. The gods were like good job Sita so she gets taken away. Now Rama is sad.
