Bharata Returns, Donald A. Mackenzie
Bharata was informed of his father's passing and was extremely upset. He wondered where Rama was and Kaikeyi told him that Rama was exiled and he was to be the new king. She also told him that she was the reason Rama got exiled. Bharata refused to sit on the throne and went to go retrieve Rama.

Bharata performs a funeral rite for Dasharatha

Rama and Bharata, Donald A. Mackenzie
Bharata tries to convince Rama to go back and become the king. Rama, however, said that he will respect his father's wishes even if he was tricked to do so. Therefore, he will stay exiled for 14 years.

The Sandals, Donald A. Mackenzie
Bharata gave Rama some really nice sandals that are the symbol of royalty.

Anasuya, Romesh Dutt
Sita talks about her birth story.

This one was a little hard to read and understand again.

Viradha, Manmatha Nath Dutt
Viradha is a rakshasa that stole Sita so Rama and Lakshmana go fight it. It is revealed that the rakshasa's real name is Viradha and he can only go to heaven if he is killed by Rama due to a curse.

Agastya, Romesh Dutt
Rama meets a sage called Agastya who gives him new weapons.

Shurpanakha and Rama, Donald A. Mackenzie
A rakshasi named Shurpanakha falls in love with Rama but Rama told her that he loves Sita and is already married. The rakshasi is angry but Rama jokingly suggest that she goes after his brother instead

Lakshmana and Shurpanakha, Donald A. Mackenzie
Shurpanakha did not like being joked to so she attacked Sita but Rama and Lakshmana cuts off her ears and nose. She went back to her brother Khara who called 14 rakshasas to attack Rama, Lakshmana, and Sita.

Battle with Khara, Donald A. Mackenzie
Khara attacks Rama and the crew but Rama kills Khara.

Shurpanakha and Ravana, Ferderika Richardson
Shurpanakha goes to her other brother Ravana and tells him about Rama. Ravana then promises to kill Rama.

Ravana and Maricha, Sister Nivedita
Ravana asks Maricha about Rama and Maricha tells Ravana that he should not bother with him. Ravana won't listen however so Maricha comes up with a plan to trick Sita.

Golden Deer, Donald A. Mackenzie
Sita sees a golden deer and wants Rama to catch it despite Lakshmana telling her to be careful.

The Chase, Donald A. Mackenzie
Rama chases the deer and kills it but Maricha imitated Rama's voice calling for help. Sita thinks it's Rama and tells Lakshmana to go save him.

Ravana and Sita, Donald A. Mackenzie
Ravana disguises as a sage to get close to Sita but then reveals himself as the king of rakshasas. Then he kidnaps Sita.

Jatayu, Sister Nivedita
Jatayu, a giant bird that is watching over Rama, fights Ravana to retrieve Sita. Sita drops her jewelry as a sign for Rama to find her. The god Brahma is happy because everything is going according to plan and Rama will kill Ravana.

Sita in Lanka, Donald A. Mackenzie
Ravana was able to force Sita to come with him to Lanka but he cannot win her over no matter how hard he tries.

Rama and Jatayu, Donald A. Mackenzie
Lakshmana and Rama go back to wear Sita is only to find that she's gone. A dying Jatayu finds Rama and explains to him what happens before he passed.

Kabandha, Donald A. Mackenzie
Lakshmana and Rama go south to where Sita is and encounters a rakshasa named Kabandha. Kabandha says that he will tell them about Ravana only if they kill him so the two brothers do, which freed him from his rakshasa form. He then tells the brothers all he knows about Ravana.

Shabari, Ralph T.H. Griffin
This hermit woman named Shabari has been expecting Rama and says that now she has met Rama and her destiny is complete, she can go to heaven.
